Generic medications are required to be equivalent in active ingredients and effectiveness to the brand-name original version, in the case of tadalafil for erectile dysfunction the originating brand name is ‘Cialis’.

For several years Dr Fox patients have been able to have their preferred generic manufacturer/brand of tadalafil noted on their account, as well as manufacturers/brands they preferred not to receive.

These preferences have now been carefully collated into a report, the results of which are listed below. Cipla, Teva, Mylan, and Accord/Actavis (Actavis was merged into Accord) were the tadalafil manufacturers/brands preferred most often.
