Frequently Asked Questions

Are Wegovy tablets as effective as injections?

Weight loss results vary, but injectable GLP-1 treatments generally produce greater weight loss than currently available oral semaglutide doses. However, some people prefer tablets because they avoid injections.

What happens if I forget to take a Wegovy tablet?

If you miss a dose, skip the missed dose and take your next tablet at the usual time the following day. Do not take a double dose.

Can I switch from Wegovy injections to Wegovy tablets?

Some people may be able to switch between semaglutide injections and tablets. Please use our online assessment for advice on changing and dosage.
