- Reducing calorie intake
- These effects can help support meaningful weight loss when combined with healthy lifestyle changes.
How to use Wegovy weight loss injections
Wegovy is injected under the skin once each week.
The injection can be given into the abdomen, thigh or upper arm. It can be taken at any time of day, with or without food.
Try to use Wegovy on the same day each week.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take for Wegovy to start working?
Many people notice reduced appetite within the first few weeks of treatment. Weight loss is usually gradual and becomes more noticeable as the dose is increased.
Why am I not losing weight on Wegovy?
Weight loss varies between individuals. Factors including dose, diet, physical activity, medical conditions and other medications can all affect results. Weight loss may become more noticeable once higher maintenance doses are reached.
Can I switch from Mounjaro to Wegovy?
Some people may switch treatments following review by their prescriber. The two medicines use different active ingredients and dosing schedules, so any switch should be supervised by the person providing your prescriptions.
