Affiliate Scheme
Overview
The Dr Fox website carries out medical consultations online. UK doctors issue prescriptions for medicine and a registered UK pharmacy posts worldwide to customers.
Dr Fox is looking for partners in the medical, pharmaceutical, health, wellness, lifestyle and travel sectors.
We pay a commission fee on each sale (see below).
You can offer your website visitors the fully regulated medical services of Dr Fox under your brand and keep customers/visitors on your website and at the same time earn money.
Options
The Dr Fox affiliate system provides 2 options for referrals:
- Simple referral to www.doctorfox.co.uk website
- Co-branded pop-up window: to appear as an extension of your own service
Associate Pharmacies
For UK RPSGB registered NHS pharmacies, we also offer the option to dispense the prescriptions issued by the Dr Fox Clinic (further information).
Affiliate Partners
Suitable partners
We are looking for partners whose visitors might need prescription medicine. Health and medical websites, chemists (dispensing and non-dispensing) travel and lifestyles websites might all be good partners. However, given the universal nature of the Dr Fox service almost any audience over 18 years of age may be suitable.
If your primary customer/visitor base and market is outside the UK, there may be special factors to consider, not detailed here.
Dispensing chemists might instead consider becoming a Partner Pharmacy.
Dr Fox would not want to partner with websites which could damage the Dr Fox brand reputation and there are some conditions attached to becoming a partner concerning not misrepresenting the Dr Fox service.
Legal safeguards
The doctors of the Dr Fox website take full legal responsibility for the prescriptions they issue and have medical indemnity insurance to cover online consultations. Customers agree to the terms and conditions as part of the consultation. A UK registered pharmacy posts the medicine worldwide by recorded delivery.
Conditions
- If your primary market is outside the UK special arrangements may sometimes apply.
- Commission is at the agreed rate depending on order value, except for pharmacies supplying medicine (see Partner Pharmacy).
- Partners cannot claim to represent the Dr Fox service.
- Partners must not mislead customers or misrepresent the Dr Fox service.
- Partners must not embed HTML pages from Dr Fox within their web pages (browser security reasons).
- Partners must abide by UK laws and regulations where applicable. You will be advised on regulations regarding advertising prescription medications.
- Failure to comply will result in your affiliate account being closed.
How much can you earn
We will pay commission on all orders made by a referred visitor registering an account at the Dr Fox website for the lifetime of that account. The fee is in a sliding scale and starts a 50p for each order under £10.00. The average spend on the Dr Fox website is around £30.00 and can be as high as £300. We have very high conversion rates (visits to site to sales ratio).

Referral linking options
There are 2 options to refer your visitors:
Direct to the Dr Fox website
This option is suitable for affiliates whose primary subject is not related to health in some way and co-branding is not suitable.

Co-branded pop-up
This option is more suitable for affiliates whose primary subject is related to health in some way and the Dr Fox can be presented as an extension to their own website. This type of link is best targeted to specific treatments.
Given the inherent association, whether a partner can use this co-branded option is down to the discretion of Dr Fox.

Partners can use both options if they wish.
Also provided are custom banners, graphics and HTML which may be used.
The technical process
When an account is created for a partner, an ID is generated. This ID will form part of the URL link affiliate partners will use.

In the example URL above the ID of the partner is 556.
When customers are referred to the Dr Fox website with the ID in the URL, our systems tag that customer as your referral. Should the customer continue to register an account then any orders made using that account will be subject to a commission payment to the affiliate partner.
Commissions are paid for the lifetime of the customer's account.
Reports and payments
Each month you will receive automated monthly reports on the referrals from your website and the number and value of transactions.
Payments will be made in sterling monthly direct to your UK bank account (foreign bank accounts will incur bank charges), or a cheque (draw in sterling) can be posted, or payment via Paypal if preferred. Minimum payment is £10.
If other payment methods are required we will be happy to explore those options with you.
Partner Pharmacies
Dispensing Pharmacies
NHS pharmacies registered with RPSGB as online pharmacies, in addition to scheme outlined above, can also affiliate in a different way.
These pharmacies can sign up to dipsense medicine prescribed by the Dr Fox doctors on a website which has dual branding.
In this associate model, customers/visitors to the pharmacy website follow a link to the Dr Fox website (either a dual branded pop-up, or a full size dual branded website, see links to examples of both opposite).
When the customers place an order on this dual branded website, prescriptions are dispensed by the referring pharmacy site. The prescription is issued on the Dr Fox website (co-branded). The pharmacy logs in to the admin section of the Dr Fox website to process and dispense the prescriptions.
In this type of partnering there is no commission. The pharmacy bill Dr Fox on behalf of of the patients for the medicines dispensed and posted to patients at a supply cost to Dr Fox of the wholesale price plus 10% plus P&P.
The associate pharmacy supplying medicine would need to agree a certain level of service (Recorded delivery postage, items posted within 36 hours weekends excepted, customer contact telephone number for delivery issues).
The contact details of the associate pharmacy, including their RPSGB online pharmacy number, would replace the details of our default supplier on the website and in email notifications.
Processing prescriptions online
The pharmacy would have its own log in to its own pharmacy area of the Dr Fox admin section for prescriptions. The e-prescriptions are compliant with EU and UK legislation.
Orders should be despatched (worldwide) by Recorded Delivery and in discreet packaging.
Chemists would mark prescriptions as dispensed and despatched in our admin system at which point an email notification is sent to the customer that will include the Assocaite Pharmacy customer service details.
Payment from Dr Fox to the associate pharmacy would be made on presentation of invoices from the pharmacy.
Dr Fox is fully regulated in the UK by the Care quality Commission. Dr Fox complies with EU and UK legislation. GMC doctors issue the prescriptions and take legal responsibility for the prescriptions.

No IT development input is needed from the pharmacy other than placing of the links on their own website. For dual branding Dr Fox would use either the existing pharmacy website logo (lifted from your website) or one emailed to us.
We are happy for potential partners to trial the system. We have the IT in place and are ready to sign up Partner Pharmacies.
Referral linking options

Direct to the Dr Fox website
The logo of our default supplier will be replaced by your own in the header area, as will the pharmacy details on our 'Regulation' and 'Contact' pages and 'order dispensed' email.

This option is more suitable if you wish the Dr Fox service to be presented as an extension of your own website. This type of link is generally best targeted to specific treatments.
Your logo will appear in the header area co-branded with Dr Fox and your details will appear on the "Regulation" page.

In both cases, your details will replace our default pharmacy supplier's details.
Prescription included
All prices listed include the prescription cost.
Fully regulated in UK
We provide online consultations with UK GMC registered doctors which may result in a private prescription online. Genuine medication is dispensed by an NHS pharmacy. Deliveries are in discreet packaging and sent recorded post.
We are fully regulated in the UK by the Care Quality Commission.
